Bloodnut with their debut album "Blues From The Red Sons". Taking over a year in recording and co fund me to get it done. This crusher of a doom album finally brought to the light of day and ready to take over the world and the cosmos.
The first song starts out with some classic down south slide guitar as it moves into very heavy fuzzy sludge slow and tuned down as low as you can go, lead singer Doug McFarlane lays done some ear and face melting lyrics.
Song two is a little faster pace with all the same heavy fuzz infused guitar riffs Doug continues to sing greasy growly lyrics.
The third song starts up Vitamin d as it plays you can hear lots of kyuss under tones in the riff writing.
The forth track starts up with Bloodnut becoming one with their surroundings allowing endless chanting to begin in their New Zealand fashion as do the Malory before going in to full battle mode ready release doomy fiery rage on the enemy .
The rest of album takes you on a musical journey through elements of doom, sludge and punk music. Bloodnut deliver to what will be one of the best new doom/sludge metal band releases this year.
