After breaking up again in 2002, Candlemass reformed in 2004 and have continued to record and perform since then.
House of Doom
This is the first track on this new album and will be called a truly epic album of classical doom metal. The song starts off with the squeaking voice of Leif Edling crushing ear drums in his classic minor key song writing style. Heavy slow riffing follows his every note which is what Candle mass is famous for. The song tells tales of crystal balls dark halls filled with your darkest fears in the house of doom.
Flowers of Deception
This song is by far one of my favorites of the album starting off with a epic tale carried out throughout song. Steady crushing tempo fills the air with low heavy bass and guitar lines followed with classic doom metal solos. Candlemass has nailed the head of the nail in the coffin with this song.
This song starts out far slower than all the rest on this album slow and steady is what makes this song epic and truly showing all the talents of Candlemass and their long standing music making career. Slowing entrancing you into far long gone lands of fortune tellers, gods, angels and evil.
