Let's delve in shall we ;}
"I Hurt" Blisters outta your speakers in mammoth proportions. Cat tail whips and boot stomping moshpit dominating groove, sets the pace right outta the gate. COB is primed and firing on all cylinders keeping things tight and heavy, commanding those fist-pumps in the air. "My Bodom (I Am The Only One)" thrashes your ass off with a very catchy groove, breaking down into a deep metal anthem pocket with oodles of noodles.
"Morrigan" has a trademark Children Of Bodom style that astounds. Alexi and Janne have the frets and keys trading off in exquisite COB fashion with Jaska and Henkka bringing the heavy rhythm section to gargantuan proportions. My Favorite track on this disc is "Horns" slamming hard with no remorse, this is the new level of what to expect from COB. Full force in yer facelove it or leave it, but ya know it's good!
A slow hypnotic pace with a melody that will stick in your head for days "Prayer For The Afflicted", bellows and tears a ripping hole in your head. Doomish and catchy as fuck!Interesting time changes and mesmerizing twists. Rebounding with "I Worship chaos" One can clearly understand the determination and talent that this band has, setting new benchmarks within the metal music world for other bands to aspire to.
I worship Chaos' ~ black horse on the album is "Hold Your Tongue". Drums rolling like thunder with Alexis' sharp double chug riff age swaggering throughout.Some very impressive solo runs and vox. "Suicide Bomber" has thrashy/death/power metal change up throughout that works very well.
Full of brooding angst and rage "All For Nothing" could be considered the ballad on "I Worship Chaos" Children Of Bodom style. Rich synth keys and blazing fretwork bring this one to it's apex. "Widdershins" wraps things up on track ten. Choppy and full of spunk with a crushing sound that will blow you away.
Surprisingly when I first gave this disc a quick listen I didn't think much of it. After a few listens though, I find it very
addictive and enjoying it more each time I replay it never experiencing a boring moment.
I think this album is a solid 10!
