If you were to look up the word “epic” in the dictionary, you'd find it being described as impressive, heroic, or something way beyond the ordinary. It's very definition makes the word “epic” describe this recording perfectly. “Fool” is something like you have never heard, it's the perfect mashup of symphonic and goth rock, mixed with a perfect portion of heavy metal to make music that sounds unlike any other. The bands orchestral sound is top notch, the drum and guitar work is stellar. Take that, and add in Darkyra Black's amazing female vocals, and you have a recipe for something awesome: Even if you just can't quite put your finger on why. It could be the incredible grooves that come out of nowhere to surprise you, the lifelike atmosphere that the music sets into your mind, or the pipes on the singer. Either way, after one listen, you know you are hearing something special.
From start to finish, “Fool” is so different you really can't define it as one genre of music in particular. Is it heavy enough to be metal? That's something for the listener to define, but in this humble DJ's opinion, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And I see beauty; I see metal.
