Chasing The Devil

The newest release in the Titan's Eve catalog releases June 12 and it's entitled "Chasing The Devil." Well, if that very devil is what pure metal is, they've already caught it.
The Gamblin brothers, Brian and Kyle originally started the band in 2008 with drummer Casey Ory and were later joined by Jesse Hord on bass. "The Divine Equal" was the ultimate debut album, as they reached a bevy of success of the heels of that initial release. Cross Canada tours would follow and they even played shows with esteemed metal acts the likes of Korn, Arch Enemy, Exodus, Anvil, Kill Devil Hill, Diamond Head, Raven and Soulfly.
I thoroughly enjoyed the follow up to their debut, "Life Apocalypse" which came out in 2012, but as I mentioned earlier, after a few years I definitely yearned for more from the boys from Vancouver.
In comes "Chasing The Devil." The Second I heard the track "Warpath", I was instantly hooked. The ear popping guitar work meshed with a killer rhythm section and once again, those chanting memorable choruses, makes this album a real standout. "The Grind" and "No Kingdom" are also pure metal anthems and I really enjoy the approach the band took to their third effort. There's no letdown whatsoever. Eric Mosher from Warehouse Studios produced the album and a mighty fine job was done by him.
Every song on the album makes you want to be with them, on the road or at a local show, chugging beers while they rip their torrid set. I've never been disappointed by a Titan's Eve live set and I'm positive that'll never change.
So when the clock strikes midnight on June 12, get yourself a copy of "Chasing The Devil" by Titan's Eve. A very solid 4 / 5.
